My uncle's old Livingston boat needed some TLC...
My Uncle's old Livingston boat had a few leaks in the stern and did not qualify as sea worthy. We grinded the rotted gelcoat areas down to the fiberglass and cleaned them up. We applied new fiberglass to the affected areas (a really messy and sticky process I learned) and let them dry before applying a couple layers of new gelcoat. There was also some rotting at the bow of the boat around the stainless steel shackle (not pictured). We also applied new fiberglass to this area which was a little interesting due to some funky geometry. The boat is now sea worthy and chasing down Dungeness crab in the Puget Sound!
